The Cardiovascular CT Research Unit at Rigshospitalet was established in 2007 and as a consequence of rapid CT technological improvements the Copenhagen General Population Study Cardiac CT examination was initiated in 2010. More than 10.000 Danes have consecutively undergone CT and the number of examinations is still counting.
We aim to establish and compile a comprehensive set of standard reference material for cardiovascular structures and internal organ anatomy utilizing CT scans. These valuable CT data based on healthy individuals can greatly assist healthcare professionals in their daily clinical practice.
