Preparation for DANE-HEART 2.0
Our anticipated investigator-initiated randomized controlled trial study, DANE-HEART, will be extended with an additional CT scanner at Rigshospitalet in order to include and examine more participants for the DANE-HEART study on a weekly basis. For the preparation and planning of the upcoming addition with the single center multi scanner setup, a multidisciplinary team meeting was held last Friday 3rd of May.
During this meeting various agenda points were discussed such as logistics, workflow for our medical students and nurse students, navigating and collecting data in the RedCap databases, and much more.
The evening program included presentations held by Klaus Fuglsang Kofoed, Anne-Sofie Ellekilde, Laura Bidstrup, Michael Huy Cuong Pham and Kirsten Thrysøe.
Launching DANE-HEART 2.0
Test days for running two CT scanners simultaneously for the DANE-HEART trial has been scheduled and we expect to officially launch this setup by Summer 2024.
